There are several lounges, nooks and crannies where you can enjoy a glass of fine wine or the perfect pint.
The Bosses Bar is the ideal place to meet for a chat or to enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail whilst perusing the delights of tonights dinner menu. This unique bar is named after a very special character named Vinnie Britton who founded the Sandhouse Hotel over 60 years ago. In his latter years he was fondly known as "The Boss" who regularly contributed to many lively debates in this bar.
The public bar known as "The Surfers Bar" opens unto Rossnowlagh Beach. It is very popular with beach walkers, hotel guests, local characters and especially members of the surfing community. Tales are often recounted of catching the perfect wave while tales of sea smuggling by some of the local characters are often more believable. All major sporting events are shown live in "The Surfers Bar"
